Do it anyway

People are often unreasonable, illogical, and self-centered;
Forgive them anyway.

If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives;
Be kind anyway.

If you are successful, you will  win some false friends and some true enemies;
Succeed anyway.

If you are honest and frank, people may cheat;
Be honest and frank anyway.

What you spend years building, someone could destroy overnight;
Build anyway.

If you find serenity and happiness, others may be jealous;
Be happy anyway.

The good you do today, people will often forget tomorrow;
Do good anyway.

If you give the world the best you have, it may never be enough;
Give the world the best you've got anyway.

Mother Teresa
I have this poem framed and hung up in my bathroom. Weird place for such a thing most people think... Everyday when I wake up what's the first thing i do? Brush my teeth...LOL but the point is when i get in the shower in the morning i see the beautiful tree on the framed art, and i think wow God is AMAZING, and then as I step out of the shower I read the poem. It's funny I've been reading this poem for a while now. It used to hang in my hallway,  and it's been hanging in my bathroom for about a month and 1/2 now since we've moved into our new home... It was only TODAY that i thought so deeply about this poem. I don't know what it was about today that made me think so deep, but it happened, and I am so thankful. God is AMAZING, and He made us to be AMAZING too. Mother Teresa's poem reflects how society is, and how God has called us to be. So i say ENOUGH IS ENOUGH... Let the past be in the past, and let's move forward smart than ever. To the world we may not be "enough" but to God we are plenty. We are His children, and just as any parent is super proud of their child when they do their best, God is super proud of us when we do our best. God's love is unconditional, so even when we fall into sin, and don't give our best He loves us anyway. That is God's Grace! Wonder what society would look like if we all followed mother Teresa's example.
